Over 80 clocks from America's premier 18th century clockmaking family, the Willards. Period costumes, old firearms, artifacts, historical collections. is on the National Register of Historic Places and renowned for being one of America’s premier clockmakers. In 1766, Benjamin Willard began making quality timepieces in the small workshop. Within a few years, the younger Willard brothers continued manufacturing clocks at the site. By the early 19th century Simon Willard obtained a patent for his Improved Timepiece that was considered one of the most significant styles of 1800’s American timepieces. | ||
