Providence, Waterplace Park at 401-453-1633. Maps are available for river
trips from Worcester to Providence as well as rentals. For more information,

Breezy
Picnic Waterslides - Douglas. Family owned picnic grounds and Alpine slide
on Whitins Reservoir.
Douglas State Forest - Douglas. 4650 acres bordering Ct. and RI offering
swimming, boating, fishing at Wallum Lake as well as miles of trails for
recreational use of snowmobiling, horseback riding, skiing, hunting, hiking.
Rare Atlantic cedar swampland accessible by boardwalk. 55 mile trail connected
to 95 mile Mid-State trail system.
Lincoln Woods
State Park - Lincoln RI. Fresh water swimming, trout fishing, 92 picnic
sites on 627 acres, trails and game fields. Boats under 10hp allowed. Between
Rtes 146 and 123.
Silver Lake - Grafton. Rte 140 towards Upton. Pass Needed
to park- available at Town Hall.
Spring
Lake Beach - Burrillville, RI. 750 feet of lakefront on fresh springfed
water pond, boat rentals, hall, social grounds , volleyball. off Rte. 102 Small
admission charge.
Upton
State Forest
West Hill Dam &
Park - Uxbridge. 518 East Hartford Ave. 557 acre park along West River with
much varied wildlife in woods, meadows, streams and wetlands with frogs,
turtles, blue heron, red fox, deer, coyote, hawks and more. Swimming in
Harrington Pond with sandy area. Rest rooms, picnic area, grills. Army Corps of
Engineers.
