The CMDART Team will have its next monthly meeting Tuesday, March 4 at the Sutton Congregational Church, Boston Rd. Sutton. An introductory program about our team and Animal Disaster Response will be offered  from 5:30-6:30 followed by a regular business meeting at 7 p.m. Please RSVP if you wish to attend the  Introductory meeting at 5:30 by calling 508-476-3677 Option # 3.

The Central Massachusetts Disaster Animal Response Team, Inc. (CMDART, Inc.) is now taking
registration for an Emergency Animal Sheltering (EAS) Workshop that is taking place March 29-30, 2008 in Worcester. Space is limited. We are encouraging Central Mass residents to sign up to take this 15-hour,
 2- day training to increase the number of trained animal disaster responders in our local communities.

$60 fee which includes a Saturday vegan lunch.

ABOUT THE TRAINING
Emergency Animal Sheltering (EAS) is intended to prepare volunteers to serve at emergency shelters for pets and animals evacuated or displaced in the event of a disaster. Information covered in this course is vital for dealing with any large-scale animal sheltering operation. The training includes two days of classroom instruction combined with tabletop exercises to give students an opportunity to practice new skills using practical scenarios.
