The Blackstone Valley Community Concert Band (BVCCB),
formerly the Uxbridge
Community Band is a volunteer organization made up
of musicians, young and old, from throughout the Valley and neighboring
communities. The band was established to provide an avenue for the
extension of musical studies and lifetime enrichment for instrumentalists
of all ages and abilities as well as to perform and provide musical
entertainment for our communities.
The group rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 -
9:00 PM at the Whitin School in Uxbridge during the school year. Summer
rehearsals are held at Our Lady of the Valley School located behind St.
Mary’s Church on Mendon Street in Uxbridge. New members are always
welcome. Although there are no auditions, high school proficiency is
recommended.

The Milford Community Chorus
The chorus meets at the Memorial Hall
Cultural Center, 30 School St., Milford. Milford Community Chorus is
open to all area residents, 18 and over, who enjoy singing.
Current members include residents of Medway, Bellingham,
Norfolk, Mendon and Upton, as well as Milford.All voices: soprano, alto, bass, and
especially tenors, are invited to join. For more

Heritage Chorale
Location: Scott Hall, First Parish Church in Framingham, 24
Vernon Street, (just north of Route 9 and at the end of the green in Framingham
Centre.) Heritage Chorale, about to begin its 71st
season, is conducted by John Finney. Its membership of over 80 singers comes
from the Metrowest area and beyond.
