The Milford Community Partnership for Children, the Department of Mental
Retardation and the Milford family Network Project will host is 14th
annual Family Fair.
The Family Fair will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 11:00 a.m.
– 2:00 p.m. at the Milford High School.
We will have a wide range of exhibitors who work with families from the
prenatal state through adolescence. Exhibitors will include health care
professionals, social services, community and educational programs, day
care providers and small businesses. There will be various
entertainment throughout the day. We also encourage all exhibitors to
include a child-friendly activity at their table.
Featured this year, as in years past, is (MYCHIP) Massachusetts Youth
Child Identification Program. This service is provided by Milford’s
Montgomery Lodge, Ancient Free, accepted Masons and is sponsored this
year by Medway Cooperative Bank.
CHIP
stands for Child Identification
Program.
The Masonic CHIP Program is the most comprehensive service of its kind
anywhere. CHIP is provided free of charge to the public, with all of the
identifying items generated during the events given to the child’s
family.
Over the past thirteen (13) years, we have had between 500-700 people
attend. The Family Fair is a great vehicle for families to learn about
all the community has to offer. This event will be both enjoyable and
informative and FREE.
Mark your calendars for March 15th (snow date of March 24th)
from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
