Grafton Fine Arts
and Music
Festival
next March at the
Grafton Municipal Center, 30
Providence Road, Grafton, MA
01519. Come
view the art and musical
performances of many artists who
are sharing their talents with
joy and exuberance.
On display will be hundreds of pieces of art that will be judged
by a prestigious panel of
judges. Also
members of the community will
demonstrate their artistic
skills and children attending
will be able to participate in
or view arts activities.
The
Grafton Fine Arts and Music Festival,
funded in part by a grant from the
Massachusetts Cultural Council, is a
three-day event celebrating artists and
musicians throughout the Blackstone
Valley. Exhibited will be framed art
photography, fiber art and sculpture by
local and regional artists. Serious
buyers are in attendance and artists
will have the opportunity to sell their
works.
The Friday night opening reception will
include wine, hors d'hoeuvres and live
music. Art awards consisting of cash
prizes for first, second and third prize
in each category will be determined by a
panel of judges and presented during the
awards ceremony. There will also be many
awards for young artists.
