The Grafton Fine Arts & Music  Festival

The Grafton Cultural Council sponsored the 2nd Annual Grafton Fine Arts & Music Festival on May 18-20, 2007 at the Grafton Municipal Center. Exhibited were framed art, photography, fiber art and sculpture by local and regional artists and students.

The Arts Festival’s purpose is to celebrate the local artists of Grafton and surrounding communities and to inspire artists of all ages to become involved to display their work. There were cash and other prizes, presented at Friday evening’s Awards Ceremony.
2006's 1st Festival was extremely successful and in 2007, the Festival grew into a 3 day event.

A Call to Artists is out now with deadline for artwork by May 8, 2008. The $5 per piece fee will help fund future festivals. For more info or to register as an artist,  or  call Jen White at 508-839-8838 or email jenwhite@charter.net.

A variety of performances, directed by musician Donna Blanchard was presented throughout the weekend, with a special musical program on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. Opening night reception included wine, hors d’oeuvres and music.  Free workshops were held on Saturday.
