Friend of Derby - $75.
As a ""Friend of the derby"" you will receive a
business card in the program booklet,
1 award given in your name, and a sponsorship
listing on the BVfishingderby.org website.
Derby Supporter - $150.
As a Derby Supporter, you will receive a 1/2 page ad
in our booklet, 2 awards given in your company name, the ability to
add an item to the tackle bags (you supply the item). Also, a
sponsorship listing and hyperlink to the BVfisingderby.org website.
Derby Co- Sponsor - $275.
As a Derby Co-Sponsor, you will receive a Full Page
ad in our booklet, the ability to add an item to the tackle bags
(you supply the item). Also, 3 awards will be given in your name,
your name will be listed on the back of the T-shirt, and Recognition as a
supporter will be placed on the BVfishingderby.org website with a hyperlink to your
company website for a year along with an optional recognition sign at the
event.

Tags n' Trout explanation! |
|
|
The tagged trout are stocked by the
Massachusetts division of Fish & Wildlife, through their
Tags-N-Trout program. |
|
This program started in 1985 with the support
of local business wanting to team up with the |
|
|
Mass Division of Fish & Wildlife and award
prizes for a trout caught with a tag. |
|
|
The tagging program has grown over the years
and the state stocks over 1000 trout with tags each year. |
|
|
Fin and Feather Sports in Upton
is one of the few business that has shown their support for
over 23 years |
|
A number and Mass F & W is stamped on each
tag. Each sponsor is listed on the states Fish & wildlife
website: |

Fin and Feather Sports is the primary program
sponsor for our event. They will be awarding prizes and gift
certificates |

for their store to the lucky anglers who catch
one of the 75 tagged trout during the Blackstone Valley youth
fishing derby. |

As of April 25, adults or previously
unregistered children are allowed to register for the Derby
to try to catch state tagged trout for prizes through the
Spring and summer until Oct 15, 2010. Prizes will be awarded
solely at Fin & Feather Sports in Upton. |

|
How you get involved. Become a friend,
supporter or co-sponsor of our fishing derby and your name
will be part of each tagged trout award that you receive
from your donation |

|
The BVYFD committee will assign a tag number
to each sponsor. The fishing derby sponsors will be able to
track it on our Derby web site:

You may also like to name it! That's up to
the sponsor. We will also, with the support of each tag
sponsor, |
|
|
be happy to place a letter (supplied by each
sponsor) with the Prize (a Fin and Feather Gift
certificate) assigned to your tag. This letter is
recommended by the Derby committee, and will be your way of
introducing you and your business to the lucky angler and
may also have some type of coupon on it to promote your
individual business. |
