This trail was formerly a Nipmuc trail crossingt hrough forest, wetlands and the West River.

Shining Rock - scenic values, conservation area to east of School Street in Northbridge - site of historic Peppercorn Cider Mill - 150 fook rock cliff - mica rock
King Philip's Rock - scenic, geological values
Old Section of Canal and River - west of Blackstone River and P & W RR, east of Rte 122, south of Riverdale Cemetery, north of St Patricks cemetery. Privately owned, left intact since 1847 - well preserved section of canal towpath (od & Gun Club uses site). Will be along Bikeway.
West Hill Dam and Park
Whitinsville Resevoir System - 200 acres of undeveloped woods, water resources and wildlife habitat. High scenic, historic, hydrology, vegetation and habitat values - Trail system???
Rockdale Pond (polluted - stage?)- 15 acre - Watershed itself = significant habitat for fur-bearing mammals/waterfowl, hare, muskrat, mink
