Derby
starts officially at 9 am and ends promptly at 1 pm
Last time of fish check in will be 1:10 pm
Participants
ages 3 yrs – 14 yrs
Awards - 2 Divisions:
3 – 8 year olds and 9 – 14 year olds
Awards to be given: 1st place
through 3rd places Trout, in the 2 Divisions.
And 4th – 8th
place for combined Divisions. Other prizes may vary.
The Award ceremony will begin approx
1:30 PM at the pavilion.
Fish Scoring
All Trout will be scored by time, length
and weight and time noted will break any tie.
Please practice “Catch and release”
(ALL FISH must be released if possible after check in)
Shore fishing only – 1 line per
child.
No adults allowed to Fish during the
derby, they may assist there child if needed.
2 Trout limit
– each youth may check in 2 trout.
After checking in there 2 trout they
will be asked to leave the water front area, to allow others to fish.
Bait allowed:
Live bait, worms, meal worms, shiners.
Spinners, spoons, marsh mallows, trout bait and salmon eggs.
All Massachusetts Fishing Laws apply!
Rod & Reel method of fishing only. *Must
bring your own equipment. “No rocket rods”
“Derby officials will have last say.”
BAIT
Worms will be available, - a small amount will be given out
to each child - While supplies last!
Trash
- Carry In - Carry Out! PLEASE HELP KEEP THE PARK CLEAN.
The “COOK OUT” Starts at 12 Noon!
All food for today’s cookout was donated by
GORETTI’s MARKET of Millbury
Each participant will receive a lunch
ticket for food and a drink with there tackle bag upon check in.
Additional Lunch tickets will be
available for other family members for a $3 donation
Includes: a
Hotdog or Hamburger a bagged snack and a drink.
Coffee, Hot chocolate and pastries will
be available for a small donation in the morning.
T-Shirts
Pre- registration before April 25th will receive a Free T-Shirt!
If by chance there are extra’s available they will be handed out first come
first serve upon check in.
Additional shirts may be available for a
donation of $8 (sizes may vary)
