A Leg Up ~ Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service

Vet recommended by Shrewsbury Community Animal Hospital and Sarah Courchesne, vet at Tufts

From Sarah Courchesne:

As a veterinarian, I am very particular about my pets' well-being and
health. The value of having someone I can truly trust with my animals is
immeasurable.  Christine Carlo is perhaps the most conscientious and
kind individual I have had care for my pets when I can't be with them.
She has the common sense and the intuition to recognize when something
is wrong, but she also has a love for animals and an energy that keeps
my pets happy and comfortable during my absence.
I can't say enough about the peace of mind and confidence I have when
leaving my pets in Christine's care, and I heartily recommend her to
anyone in need of pet care.  Sarah Courchesne

From Heather Wassal:

My Goldendoodle, Molly, and my two cats, Ian and Oliver, have been clients of Grafton Pet Care for several years. Christine has been a wonderful help with my pets for when I cannot be there for both dog walking and pet sitting services.

Christine has provided me with peace of mind in knowing my pets are being treated like her own. A prime example of this is Molly had some surgery on her leg last year and Christine was absolutely amazing in her recovery by doing the prescribed physical therapy exercises while I was at work. Molly is back at 100%, certainly due to Christine's loving care.  Christine has also been a great help for when I have been on vacation. My cats, who do not travel, have enjoyed her visits when I am away. They are always content when I return. Christine's level of care for animals is impeccable. I strongly recommend Grafton Pet Care for dog walking and pet sitting services. Thank you, Christine!

From Madeline Kinnear:

I have known Christine for years, Topper is 13 years old and I wouldn't trust just anyone to watch and care for him. Christine knows Topper's likes and dislikes, she is truly a God send when it comes to taking care of animals. She can zone in when an animal is not himself and lets me know exactly how Topper is doing when I'm away. She calls them puppy notes. She'll tell me if his bowel movements are normal, if his behavior is different, if he ate his food and so on. I know when I return that my Topper has no stress and that it's like I never left. He has no stress what so ever!! Thank you Christine for loving my animal as much as I!!!

From Ed and Julie Deane:

We have owned dogs for the past twelve years. Both my husband and I work and needed help with dog walking during workdays. Christine has been walking and caring for our dogs for the majority of that time. I cannot say enough about how happy we are to have Christine walking and caring for
our dogs. I know by how they greet her that they are just as happy as we are if not more! She is responsible, reliable and dedicated. When our Lab, Indiana, was in his last days, Christine was visiting him daily and was just as broken hearted as we were at his passing. I would highly
recommend her services and know you will be as pleased with her as we are!

From Joy Ashley:

Christine has been walking Brady for me for a year now. I cannot say enough about her, and Brady confirms with a "bark". He loves Christine and she loves him. Christine is very reliable ~ I can go off too work trusting that she will come on the assigned days & times, and I feel very comfortable with her having a key to my home. I specifically chose to use a local person for the trustworthiness and consistency, rather than using a a national agency.

From Kelly Taylor:

I have known Christine for over a year now and cannot imagine not having her in our lives. I adopted a boxer through rescue a little over a year ago and called Christine for her services. At the time, Memphis was 4 years old and had come into the rescue program with a twisted leg that his previous owners had let heal that way. After 2 weeks of having Memphis, we had reconstructive surgery done on his leg to give him a better quality of life. They needed to take 2 inch of bone out and Pin his leg back together for over 6 months. Christine played an essential part in helping with Memphis care and rehabilitation on a day to day basis; and in helping Memphis trust again. She is extremely dog savvy and works with her clients on any issues that might arise with their pets. A little over 3 months ago, I started fostering for a rescue and fell head over heels in love With my foster. Treasure is an 8 year old deaf white boxer that is full of life and love. I adopted her and Christine helped our family adjust to the addition. Memphis and Treasure are my best friends. I respect them very much and only want the best care out there for them. I found that care and love with Christine. She is extremely responsible, loyal and trustworthy. My dogs absolutely adore her and trust her with their lives. Not only has she become part of our family, but she has become a very dear friend of mine. For those of you that are looking for a pet care professional, I would tell you that this should be your last stop. Call her, she is the real deal and she will not let you down.

From Anne Loomer:

I've know Christine for over two years. I can call her up at the last minute, knowing she will be there for my love bugs. Although she would like to have a weeks' notice on when to care for my dogs, Sam and Bogey, sometimes I need to be somewhere when I am on call. She has been there for me, and manages to squeeze me in when I need her. I have all the trust in the world with Christine taking care of my dogs, as much as I. I would recommend her highly to anyone who cares for their dogs as if they were humans. She shows this through her letters and when we arrive home they are content and happy.  Give her a call!! I'm glad I did!!!  ABT ME
