Riverview Park Recreational Project

On behalf of the town's Recreational Fields Committee we would appreciate your making every effort to attend this important public hearing and to speak up in support of the proposed recreational improvements at the Riverview Park site. The site is town owned land and is currently a vacant former gravel pit located at 176 Providence Road. (State Route 122) Proposed site improvements include a multipurpose rectangular natural grass field. There will also continue to be access to Fisherville Pond for canoes and kayaks.

The Recreational Fields Committee has been working on this project for several years, but because there continues to be some neighborhood concerns, the Committee asks that as many representatives of youth sports groups in the town make an effort to attend this public hearing on Monday evening, March 24th at 7:00 PM
